Autumn in June

So I had this idea of Fumika acquiring omnipotence and using it without realizing it for some time now, but the idea of her making it autumn like what's she's reading was a more recent idea.

It also wound up being totally SFW, too, which wasn't my initial expectation.  I guess changing the season temporarily and accidentally isn't sexy, no matter how much cleavage you show while doing so.  inb4 you absolute troglodyte you utter fool how could you possibly be so wrong

What a beautiful summer day!  It's nice and warm out, the light breeze feels fantastic, and most importantly, it's quiet!  If there was ever a day to have off, this is it!  I can sit back, relax, and finally finish this collection of haiku by Matsuo Bashō!
... Hm.  Seems the temperature dropped.  The wind's getting a bit chilly.  I don't... think the forecast mentioned this....
I kinda want to head inside and put on some heavier clothing... no, I'm already relaxed.  I can ignore an occasional breeze if I'm focused enough.
Wait, what was that?  I saw something orange fly past my peripheral vision.  It couldn't have been-- what?!  An orange maple leaf?  In the middle of summer?!  Look at that--all the trees are shedding their leaves as if it was autumn!  I can't explain it!
I don't feel chilly anymore, oddly enough.  Actually, I'm rather warm and comfy now.  ...Which makes perfect sense, because my clothes changed!  Now I'm dressed exactly how I would be for a typical October day!
This is very strange.  Could I have traveled through time?  ...No, my phone says it's the middle of June--exactly when it should be.  Am I dreaming?  Well, I still have all ten of my fingers, the text in my book is legible, and no matter how hard I pinch myself, nothing is changing.  The only connection I can think of is that the haiku I was reading were the autumnal-themed ones from Matsuo-sensei's later years.  I was immersing myself into the words, putting myself in the environments he described... could I have done this?  When did I acquire the power to effect a change as drastic as this?
Well, I suppose at this point, the most logical course of action is to try and change things back.  Wouldn't hurt to try, at least.
... That seems to have done it!  It's summer again!  It's warm again, the maple trees are green again, and I'm wearing the light clothes I remember putting on today!  I can't believe it!  All it took was a few seconds of mild concentration!
Hmmmm... I was planning on just reading today... but if I've acquired some kind of supernatural powers, I think my curiosity on that front takes priority over whittling away at my backlog.  Nothing personal, Matsuo-sensei--I promise I'll finish reading your works eventually.  Who knows?  I might be powerful enough now to travel back in time and meet the man himself!  Wouldn't that be something?  Well, I'd have to be careful not to change the past in doing so.  It'd be wiser to first experiment on a smaller scale before leaping through time!
Regardless, I can't help but be excited about this!  This will likely take up all my off days for the foreseeable future, but I think I can live with that!
