So I may have gotten a little carried away with all the effects...  At the time, I had done so in an attempt to cover up the page number in the corner, since my attempts to edit it out with the Clone tool were less than spectacular.  (I'm a writer, not an artist.)  I figured doing so would help convey the "mother goddess" idea I was going for.  By making everything around her face and breast blurry, I think it makes her look heavenly, kinda like Oma Desala from Stargate SG-1.
