Sakuya and Kogane make plans to meet each other at the beach, but encounter individuals from an entirely different universe who have taken an interest in them...
Those of you familiar with Akane's work may very well recognize the names Paula and Jennifer from their Super Goddess Series. Given the feats Super Goddesses are capable of, it's very possible this caption is part of the Super Goddess canon, and this particular universe is a recreation of the Idolmaster universe in reality. KOGANE: So ah was headin' t' the local beach to meet up wit' Sakuya-chan, when mah eye caught the most strikin' woman ah'd ever seen! She was jus' about two meters tall--more those ha-heeled boots a-hers! She was a police officer-- well, no, dat's not quite true. She was dressed like a police officer, but ah'd never seen anyone--police or otherwise--so tall and beautiful, and with such long and voluminous golden hair! 'er whole outfit was a sleeveless bodysuit with plenty'a open space in the chest, to show off 'er huge cleavage! She had no equipment on 'er: no gun, no nightstick, no radio. Ah somehow got the impression she jus' didn't need 'em. Maybe she was supposed'ta seduce the bad guys inta submission? Well, if ah hadn't been payin' close enough attention, she prolly would'a seduced me just by sheer proximity! ...And ah would'a banged mah face against a street light. Glad ah caught mahself in time.
Anyway, ah figured she was a cosplayer who just happened t' be insanely beautiful--a foreigner, prolly. Ah certainly wasn't expectin' to actually interact with 'er!
She introduced 'erself in a foreign but very easy to understand accent as Paula Estévez. Ah introduced mahself in return. "I wanted to give you something," she said.
"What is it?" ah asked.
"Just a little present." She held out 'er open hand, showing me a thin chain necklace wit' a star on the end. It picked up the light beautifully--got me entranced almost instantly.
"Wow..." I mumbled.
While in mah trance, Paula put it 'round mah neck and looked me over. She said it suited me, so ah could keep it. Ah declined, sayin' it was prolly real expensive. Paula explained it grants the wearer powers like body alteration, flight, immortality, oxygen independence, "and... and... uh... ah, whatever. Suffice it to say it gives you lots of powers. I'm sure you'll have fun using it."
Ah asked 'er how she was able to acquire such a powerful piece'a jewelry. She said rather casually dat she was a Supa Goddess. She was apparently totally omnip'tent, but usually limited herself, since being all-knowin' apparently gets old in a hurry. It was thanks to an extremely brief flash'a dat omniscience dat brought mah existence to 'er attention, even 'cross universes.
Ah thanked 'er profusely for the gift and watched 'er teleport away in a flurry'a golden light. Ah realized Sakuya-chan was prolly already at the beach by now, so ah hurried over, eager to show 'er mah gift.
"Sakuya-cha~n! You'll never believe wha happened t'me on the way here!"

On the way there, I spotted an astonishingly beautiful woman sitting on a bench, idly people-watching. Oddly enough, she seems to have spotted me before I her. She waved me over. I knew I had plans to get to, but... I was just *drawn* to this woman somehow. Her beauty was... beyond what I thought possible somehow. Before I knew it, I was sitting next to her. She had a gentle, knowing smile on her face. I somehow got the impression she already knew me.
"H-h-h-hello? C-can I fu-- er, h-help you?"
As you can see, this was... not my finest hour.
"Sakuya Shirase, yes?"
"Y-y-yes. And-- and who, um... who might you be?"
Seemingly indifferent to my flusteration, she introduced herself as Jennifer Martinette, examined my face for a few moments, and snapped her fingers. I flinched as I abruptly felt a cool sensation against my earlobes, as well as a peculiar calm wash over me. I reached up and found I was wearing earrings now! As I worked on removing one, Jennifer said, "Oh, don't you like them?"
I examined the piece of jewelry--*pieces* of jewelry, rather. It was comprised of one earring, a hollow diamond shape with a second earring with short white tassels suspended at the bottom of the diamond. Nothing seemed to be holding it in place, but I was unable to remove the tassel part. Whoever designed these must have really liked whatever trick they used to suspend it like this.
"Well, I do like them... but how did you put them on me like that?"
"I wanted to give them to you."
"I appreciate it, but why?"
Ambiguous as ever, Jennifer explained that she is a Super Goddess, which, as the name implies, means she's capable of literally anything. Including materializing earrings out of thin air, and making said earrings grant the wearer a myriad of powers. It all made sense now. The intense pressure I had felt immediately upon seeing this woman was because she was a god! That knowing smile of hers--which never left her face--radiated an aura of "I'm in control. I'm *always* in control."
"Those earrings will give you an exponential boost in your physical and mental capabilities, the ability to fly, the ability to lactate at will, the ability to flawlessly divine the future, and a natural gift for the arts as a whole."
"And you're just... giving these to me?"
"That was the plan, yes. Did you not want them?"
"No, no, I... thank you. Thank you very much." I bowed in respect, as if I was at a shrine. Come to think of it, this was one step further--I was in the presence of a literal god!
"Now, don't you have something else to do?"
"Huh? Oh yeah! Kogane! The beach! I gotta go! Thanks again!"
Jennifer gave her an idle wave as I ran off. I thought I saw a brief flash of something hot pink appear on her head in my peripheral vision momentarily...
"Kogane! I have something really crazy to show you!"
