A Slight Embellishment

This one was a request from Rocomotives on DeviantArt.  I gave it a different spin than my usual ones.

The image I used is official art of Reika Kitakami from a card in Idolmaster Million Live (with the card elements removed, obviously), presumably done by Kiyotaka Tamiya, according to according to the Idolmaster Wiki.  There doesn't appear to be a source website where this particular image came from (aside from the game itself), but I found it on Danbooru.

All persons depicted are fictitious, not owned by me (Reika Kitakami is owned by Bandai Namco Games), and above the age of 18.  I make no money through this image.

To think, they said an idol couldn't make it in the military--especially not in a combat role!  I insisted I spend some time at a training camp to prove myself.
The duration of such a stay is typically a year or two, but I went in, came out, and went to active duty after not even a week!  I must have made a good impression on them!  Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to be able to serve this country, but... come to think of it, I'm actually not really sure why they praised me so much.
I didn't actually do anything all that special, really.  If anything, I was the only one who did things right.  Everyone--even the instructors!--spent so much time eating and sleeping.  I'm surprised the SDF actually lets its officers slack off that much, and yet, they even went to the trouble of fitting in time in the daily schedule for those things!  If I didn't know any better, I'd think the people here consider that some kind of biological necessity!  A soldier needs to be ready for combat at any time!  That's why I figured out how this RPG is put together, so I can recreate it from memory instantly!
It's probably for the best I joined this military.  They definitely could use my help!
