Galixia the Star Goddess

This follows up on danio13's story from some time ago, titled Enter Noireta.

TRANSCRIPT:
Well, this has certainly been an eventful day! A year ago, the Star Nymphs went into hiding. I stayed within my star, granting wishes and going about my days like normal... only it didn't bring me the joy it once did. My closest friend, Noireta, found herself in the inescapable pull of a black hole and was swallowed whole. There was no mistaking that she died--at least, that's what I thought at the time.
I grieved for her and eventually moved on... until Nightlight Town was attacked by none other than Noireta herself. She managed to survive inside the black hole and managed to escape, but not without being corrupted in the process. She was furious at me for what she perceived as my abandoning her. She claimed that Star Nymphs were arrogant, self-important narcissists.
Were it anyone else, I would've taken their words in stride. But Noireta was like a sister to me. Her accusations hit me harder than the blast of black star energy she shot me with.
I fell into despair. I tried to keep things business as usual, but that didn't help. If only her aim was a little better, I thought... then I would've died and my suffering would be over before it began.
Eventually, I became so desperate that when I spotted another black hole, I left my star and flew right into it. I felt a wave of relief as I was caught in its gravity well--it would all be over in a moment.
I was fully expecting to be swiftly torn apart and meet a merciful end, but surprisingly enough, I managed to survive inside the event horizon, like Noireta did. My body started absorbing the enormous quantities of cosmic energy within it. I became so powerful that I could easily defy the black hole's irresistible grasp and escape it!
The job of a Star Nymph is to explore the universe and grant wishes to people in need. Who grants their wishes, though?
I don't know, to be honest. In times as dire as these, the only conscionable thing to do is step up to the plate myself, especially since I have these powers now. The Star Nymphs will need a hero to survive, and I can't think of a better word to describe myself now!
Just you wait, Noireta. I won't let anything stop me from saving you and my people!
